Daily life for Kyabobo girls in Nkwanta
Nkwanta is a remote rural area in the Volta Region of Ghana. The vast majority of girls who attend Kyabobo Girls' School live in very basic conditions. Before and after school they carry out many household chores such as cleaning, cooking, collecting water, washing clothes and caring for siblings. Many also have to walk considerable distances to reach the school.
