Gill Norris writes about the progress of the building of the girls' school
"We are in the process of completing the ceiling, electrics and plumbing thanks to the generosity of Ghana International Bank. After that we have to finish the wood work, door frames etc, floor the building and paint the walls.
The new kitchen will be constructed soon and the toilet block completed. The science block remains solidly at foundation level until funding is found to complete it. Until this happens we will not be able to open the higher classes in the school."
We hope that all structural work will be finished by Easter 2012.
We still have to furnish and equip the school. Already we have received donations of some classroom furnishings from TWGGS and Fonthill School, for which we are most grateful. If you know of any other schools which might be disposing of school furniture, please get in touch!!
